Traktor Control S2 MK2 - Pilot problem

I got the Control S2 MK2 without any cables so I had to obtain them by my own means. I tried to connect it to the app I'm using "DJayPro" on my laptop but It didn't work. So I Installed the Native Controller Editor but I still can't connect it to DjayPro. I cheked and my Control lights up when I open Controller Editor and also detects when I'm on the app but I can't see it in the MIDI settings on the App, But I can see it in the audio outputs. So I checked the devide manager on my laptop and theres an orange triange next to the Control name with error 28 stating that the pilot is not detected. I don't know what to do next, does anyone have an idea of what I can do next ?

thank you, now the app recognises my controller. Even though I still can't control it with my controller, I c'ant figure it out.

I guess you need a mapping, ask in the djay pro forum or search the dj tech tools website.

The s2 mk2 is not supported by Djay, at least not out of the box: https://www.algoriddim.com/hardware#win (See it's missing from the list in the bottom)

But you can set the controller into midi mode (SHIFT (left) + SHIFT (right)): https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210264145-How-to-Switch-Your-Native-Instruments-Controller-to-MIDI-Mode

And then you might be able to map it yourself in midi: https://help.algoriddim.com/user-manual/djay-pro-windows/midi/mapping (I never used DJay, can't say how well it works)

If you don't want to use Traktor, but a software with out of the box mapping, you could give mixxx a try, it seems to have a mapping for it: https://manual.mixxx.org/2.5/en/hardware/controllers/native_instruments_traktor_kontrol_s2_mk2
