Maschine Software reacts on different MIDI Channel

Question

Maschine is responding to MIDI signals that actually shouldn’t be there.

I have two A&H K2 controllers, one set to MIDI channel 15 and the other to channel 16. One K2 controls Maschine, the other controls Traktor. Until about three months ago, this setup worked perfectly.

But recently, Maschine has started responding to both K2s, while Traktor can still tell the difference 🤷‍♂️

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

Have you checked the MIDI activity? You can actually check what MIDI information, CC or channel is carried out: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/fr/articles/209544729-How-to-Monitor-the-Output-of-a-MIDI-Controller

That might help you understand where the issue is coming from.
