3rd party library not showing library title

Question

When importing one of my 3rd party libraries it appears as “Instrument” instead of Audiothing Bells.  Same behaviour in Kontakt 7.  New pc but same External HD so it’s a new thing.  Just get used to the alphabetical nature of the browser.  Following all the standard ways of importing these libraries and images btw. Thanks in advance really just need to change the name…

Unless the third party library is designed for (and has all the "exact" payload information) to appear correctly in Kontakt 8's Library view - what you are seeing is par for the course.

This specific library dates back to a time where it should be opened via the Classic View→Files menu.

This is really the best option unless you really want to struggle with Library view.

From what I can see then my guess is that the 'Audio Thing Bells' is actually only one library with a number of settings / presets with different sound.  You probably should try removing the three 'Audio Thing Bells' directories added then remove the check mark in import as individual libraries and then re-add the  'Audio Thing Bells' folder which should make it say 'Audio Thing Bells' (?)

Else then alternatively follow use/install instructions from down this page .

To access file view in Kontakt 8 (as used on the use/install instructions)  then switch to Play and Classic View

Thanks @Jeremy_NI and Poor Fellow!  They are NKI files and I checked the box to import as individual Libraries.

I have attached screen shots of my process. the library

imports as "Instruments" instead of "audiothing Bells"  apart from that everything functions properly with the exception that I cannot import Artwork. (I made an image 200x400 pixels and put it in the Images folder as usual. Probably No Artwork and Mis named folder are related!!  thnkyou so much for helping!
