Not sure if this is the right place for this - total newbie here. I got the Kontact Player included with a MIDI controller. I bought the "Leap Soul Choir" expansion and got it loaded. In my DAW (Using Cakewalk Sonar) when I bring the Soul Choir up in the Kontact Player, it plays the "kits" different sounds on different keys on the keyboard - I expected it to play a given sound at different pitches with the keyboard. I found that if I load the stand alone Kontact 8 player (not in my DAW, directly in Windows) that there is an option just above the virtual keyboard where you can choose "Group" or "Single" and choosing "Single" there gives me closer to what I'm looking for. When I open the plugin version of Kontact Player in my DAW, that setting isn't there. Is this because I'm using Kontact Player and not the full version? I wouldn't mind upgrading if that's the case, but don't want to if it's going to be the same in the full version. I admit I don't understand how the Soul Choir expansion can work if you only have the sounds at the one pitch?
To give an example of what I'm after - another vocal plugin I use is Sine Player from Orchestral Tools. When I load a voice in that, I can play that voice at any pitch (within its range) on the keyboard, just like any other soft synth. That's what I was hoping to do with the Soul Choir voices.
Thanks for any help / explanations
