Experiences with the Z1 mk2 and X1 mk3 combination. I use Traktor Pro 4

I’d love to hear about your experiences. I’ve already looked into the Z1 + X2 combination, of course, but I’d like to weigh up the pros and cons again with your help. 

Oh, and if I buy both controllers, what additional cables do I need to order so that I can try them out straight away with my MacBook Pro (2019)?

They don't connect with each other, just straight via USB to the computer. They are controllers, similar to a computer keyboard, sending button presses to the computer.

X1, mk2, mk3 and z1 and z1 mk2 .. they more or less work similar. Anything specific you want to know?

Like I already wrote in another of your threads. The downside of X1's is that you don't have a jogwheel and pitch fader. Making beatmatching by ear a bit more difficult .. or rather not as fun. If you use sync anyway that does not matter as much.

I like the X1 because it's small and at home or in the club I can combine it with a real mixer (Xone 96, DJM etc.) and when I need it on a more mobile gig I can combine it with the z1.

As you already have the z1, it's easy to just add an x1 (mk2 or mk3) for relative low price.
But of course you can also sell the z1 and get the mx2. Up to your play style and needs.
