It appears to be an amazing product.
I played with the wizard for weeks, and accidentally did a mix without Nectar and it sounded better, so I don't know how to use the product, because I'm sure it's awesome…
What I need to know is what is really going on in the background…
If I use the wizard, what parameters does it affect?
If I pick a TARGET vocal (from a song), what components of the product is it using or throwing away? For example, does a TARGET just use the vocal STEM and try to sculpt the EQ of my vocals?
and does it throw away the SHAPE, INTENSITY, DYNAMICS (reverb, etc.) — I don't see them changing.
I'm sure the TARGET function doesn't create similar harmonies of course, so there are basic things that I think I understand.
This is just one question of many reagarding what components are really being applied in each use case.
Is there a video that pulls apart these different use cases if I am going to use the components sparingly and separately?
I know these are complex questions, but I'd really like to get the best out of the product.
By the way, I am not a novice, but NOT A TRAINED ENGINEER (but getting better!)
I don't think the wizrd is going to help me. Listening to 8 seconds of a song is not going to capture the vocal dynamics between the verse and a chorus, let alone the entire song. I need to be choosey.
Thank you so much for your guidance.
