Trying to map tempo to an expression pedal, but it seems only tap is available.
So i tried it and it works perfect, you just have to enable the "remote" tick-box for the midi controller you want to use for that purpose, otherwise it will not work.
Of course 100 bpm to 140 bpm is a bit too much normally but those settings are important and i wanted to show you those.
Hello,
what exact version of gr do you use? But with kushview element or any other vst host (rack performer,..) you should be able to do that. At least I read that you can midi learn the tempo in kv element or shift tempo on a per scene basis but I never tried that myself.
Hi, it's 7 Pro, just in the app. I suppose I can just run it in Ableton if this isn't an option
Ableton live is a good idea, as far as I know you can even set lowest and highest value if still in learn mode, to learn the pedal to the bpm, so you have a much better control over the bpm.
Got that working, but now realizing I really need it to be independent of the host tempo. It doesn't seem that BPM is a mappable parameter in GR.
I need to control the tempo so that various modulators around the patch are synced to various time signatures rather than random frequencies, so everything pulses in rhythm across tempos.
This feature is a sad omission ðŸ˜
Can you maybe give an example of what you really try to achieve here in terms of the controls and synced modulators and time signatures, somehow I don't get it, maybe there is a way to do what you need.
