Absynth 6.1 - Freezing Ableton Live 12

Question

Hi there, just updated Absynth 6 to the latest 6.1 on my MacBookPro M5 Max , but every time I open the Absynth 6 VST3 in Ableton 12, it says "Please Wait Scanning Presets" and almost immediately beachballs Ableton. I've let it sit for about 5-6 minutes and it's still beach balling; has anyone else had this happen? :(

It was working just fine until the 6.1 update; I ended up solving it by running the VST in standalone to do its re-scanning, as it was causing Ableton to freeze up.
