is the license transfer information up to date ?

Question

I bought the S49 MK3 to compliment the Maschine plus in standalone mode. the keyboard was bought from reverb so I provided the purchase receipt and a picture of the serial on the bottom. 3 tickets I submitted for the transfer!!!!  is the way the get stuff transferred changed  because I was told no, you have stuff out in the world that people resell to shops so how do I get the license transfer the old owner doesn't take the time to unregister it and again I followed the guidelines on what your site says to do @Jeremy_NI please help

@TeamBrooklyn AS my colleagues replied to you earlier today:

The serial number you have submitted is registered to another user.

Serial numbers can only be released by the registered license owners themselves. Since you can’t contact the previous owner, we have done this for you in order to get a written confirmation of the product release.

If the user replies, we will inform you immediately.

The seller is supposed to provide a transfer ID, but a lot of people that sell stuff don't bother. NI sometimes issue a licence if you supply a purchase receipt but I believe they do try to contact the original owner to make sure it was sold and not stolen. Hopefully Jeremy will be able to clarify things when he's back after the Easter break.
