Moving Files from iCloud to HD

I need some serious help moving, deleting, correcting files in Traktor. It seems everytime I update Traktor, the previous version is not deleted. My Native Inst. Folder in applications now has 3 different versions of Traktor. One in a Backup Folder and 2 in Traktor Pro 4 Folder (See attached) I just updated to latest release and my collection was gone. I was able to bring it back up, but from iCloud. Everytime I start Traktor I get the message "Optimize Mac Storage is turned on in iCloud. We recommend switching it off - Preferences-iCloud, iCloud Drive - Options. I can't just turn it off because of Traktor. So I go to Icloud -Documents Folder - Native Instruments and guess what? Found a bunch of previous Traktor versions. Can I/should I delete them?

How can I have Traktor just save everything on my HD without risking corruption or loss from just copying everything to my HD? How can I have Traktor just forget about iCloud?

Both folders are unrelated to iCloud, even on windows you have the backups.

If you want, you can delete the older versions from ~/Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor X.X.X

It's nice to keep maybe the previous version, so you always have a backup.
But feel free to remove the Traktor 4.3.0 and below, probably not needed.
These contain the collection, and in case of a corruption you can always recover from a previous version or ~/Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor X.X.X/Backup

The folder called "Backup" with the .app file I would keep. Those get automatically replaced when you install a new version. It's just a single backup from just the exact previous installation and does not get bigger and bigger over time, unlike the Documents folder.

Now to iCloud. Sometimes iCloud uploads the current version of the documents folder into the web and Traktor gets confused. There have been instances where collections get lost.

Just from the file size I can see not everything is recovered. I would rename the 4.4.2 folder, and copy the 4.4.1 folder to be the new 4.4.2 folder. That way you have your collection, cashed cover arts, waveform etc.

Thanks Carlos. My Documents Folder is made to be kept in iCloud for some reason or another, has been that way since I initially bought this Mac and that is where Traktor seems to like to keep things.

Optimize Mac Storage means macOS may at any point move files off your drive into iCloud, causing your collection to become corrupt.

You can simply tell Traktor to store things outside of Documents by going to Traktor Preferences > File Management and changing the root dir.
