I have an NKS library Triaz by Wave Alchemy.. the library is a drum maschine vst. However it has been categorized as “other”. Does anyone know of anyway I can correct it’s category?
Contact developer since they deliver the NKS compatibility, they should update or assist with that side of things.
What 'categories' does it say in your categories.JSON file in Users/Shared/NI Resources/dist_database/wave alchemy/triaz In my file it says "Sampled Instruments" . My own problem however is that I can not get it to show in the library list at all and I have no idea why (e.g. if because of category) I can only get Triaz to show in Komplete Kontrol by adding it through the three dot menu in top of Komplete Kontrol interface and then Instrument and VST3
Also I am not sure if a re-scan will do or some reset will have to be done if changing the Category.

I just checked and did not see a category. Indicated. I have already tried reinstalling the vst and nothing… would i just be able to edit the metadata and that would solve this?
looks like they mistakenly left in the categories.json template rather than a completed one. You can edit it yourself but they really should be doing this too
User Vagus posted this Triaz Native NKS link post but considering that I can not even get Triaz to show in the Komplete Kontrol browser myself then I can not guarantee that this is not just going to screw up things more for you (also). As suggested by Kymeia then it should really be Wave Alchemy that fixed the functionality. Especially since the Triaz v. 1.2.0 installer update apparently adds the NKS support by the company itself….
It does have a correctly formatted categories.json though. So just download that and at least they should no longer show under 'other'. I just had a look at the Wave Alchemy site and I can't see where it says it even has official NKS support so maybe they dropped it when they moved from Kontakt?
Thank you , as I wrote in the above then I can not even get the Triaz to show in my own Komplete Kontrol 3. browser despite having tried both the Vagus files and installing the version 1.2.0 update that says to include the NKS support (and on top of that reset the KK DB) so I have had to make a notice that I couldn't say how it would all work on the OPs computer.
As for the Triaz NKS support then I agree that it is a bit peculiar but it is written on the 'Everything bundle' page that it is included , and also is made available in the Triaz version 1.2.0 installer.
Hello all. I wish I would have read the recent comments before attempting this but before I go any further thankfully nothing is broken although it's not exactly fixed yet.
I tried to format the triaz category the same way it was formatted on another plug-in I have that was correctly categorized and it still doesn't seem to work.
I posted some pictures of what it's looking like now(still under “other”). Hopefully someone could help me figure out what's missing to have it properly formatted.

“You are correct - Triaz should be categorized under Drums / Percussion in NKS, not Other.
This is not something you can fix from your side, so there is no need to reinstall again.
We will investigate why this is happening, and aim to correct it in a future update.
