I honestly don't think if I were to make an INTERFACE I could design this any worse. It' so frustrating and shitty. The scaling is all over the place, the layout is dumb and it ruins my workflow. I can't believe I spent money to upgrade to this ( which they made me do )

Fair enough.

But - why do you feel you needed to be pushed to use it? I don't. I am in Classic View all the time. Takes two seconds to shut off the browser and never see it again.

You have tons of choice. Now - full disclosure - if you purchased a brand new (Made for K8) instrument - you have no choice of course.

But if it's an existing library - that has just been "updated" to "require" K8 - you do not need to play that game. Just go here and get a version that works with K7 - if that's your thing:

Bottom line - K8 is no more than K7 with a few bells and whistles that you can easily make disappear.

Considering the main Kontakt interface has been the same for 10+years - this post makes no sense.

Would it be possible to supply less information about exactly what you are getting at?

Also - no one “made” you do anything. Without any context whatsoever - we have no idea what you are bothered about

For starters Kontakt 8 pushes the library browser heavily.
I need several clicks to get to instrument editing there is Less immediate access to rack-style loading all the screen space is taken by artwork, it's super annoying. Considering work flow it feels slower. The new style for libraries is also dumb, because now you can't go to the main instrument and work from there but you have to select a specific patch already. And yes, I did have to upgrade because some instruments would not work on Kontakt 7 - so sure no one "MADE ME" but if I want to use Instruments I purchased I had no choice. This should be an upgrade that makes us feel excited and streamline workflow. Instead is does the total opposite. Library searching and browsing is now worse as well.
I am by far not the only one who feels this way.
