HID Support Timeline for AlphaTheta CDJ-3000X with Traktor Pro 4?

Hello NI Team and Traktor community,

I'm a long-time Traktor Pro user looking to upgrade to the new AlphaTheta CDJ-3000X (released 2025). The original Pioneer CDJ-3000 works great in HID mode with full integration (library browsing, waveforms, cues, etc.), but there's no official support for the CDJ-3000X yet.

AlphaTheta has added HID support for Serato DJ Pro and djay Pro via firmware updates (up to v1.20), but nothing for Traktor as of March 2026.

Questions:

* Is HID support for CDJ-3000X planned in a future Traktor Pro 4 update? Any ETA or roadmap info?
* When available, will it include the same deep integration as CDJ-3000 (screen navigation, library browsing, etc.)?
* Any workarounds or beta testing opportunities in the meantime?

This would be a game-changer for Traktor users transitioning to AlphaTheta gear in clubs. Many of us are waiting before upgrading.

Reading posts here in the community I have the impression that NI is working on CDJ-3000X support. But it sounds like to not expect it already the next week. I would expect it still takes several months. Keep in mind that there isn't a real official confirmation. No Traktor support for CDJ-3000X at all is still a possibility.

Therefore: No ETA or roadmap. I expect a similar integration as with CDJ-3000. NI doesn't offer public betas for Traktor anymore. Workaround for now: CDJ-3000X sends MIDI. Find or build a MIDI mapping and/or use DVS. With all the downsides this brings. (No display support, limitations with the jog)

I don't use cdjs myself but from comments around the internet it seems cdj 3k hid on traktor is still buggy.
