Will M+ get support for Link Audio?

With Live 12.4 beta Ableton announced updated Link protocol to share audio streams between devices or software on the same local network (e.g. WiFi):

Seeing how M+ has (original) Link support, I wonder how likely it is to offer it for Link Audio as well?

The team is considering it. There's no plan in the near future though and there might be some technical challenges.
