Just to be sure it's not something simpler;
have you tried switching between Play and Edit Views? Some users have mistaken the new Play View for being the only view, without clicking Edit to go deeper (wherein it resembles Massive X as it's always been).
The only way to do revert the software back to any version prior to v1.60 I believe.
And then remember to never allow Native Access to update it - ever.

If not just 'something simpler' as inquired by Matthew_NI then it looks as if VocalPoint is correct since the Massive X update status / change log says that the Light theme and Flat Light theme were removed in version 1.6.0 .
