Maschine+ with Komplete Audio 6 and External FX

Hi,

I have my maschine+ connected to KA6 to record and sample my polyend synth and external fx pedals (chroma console, Meris polymoon and mercury 7).  However, I can’t resample the internal audio to “print” external fx onto the incoming audio / sample.

Connections:

Polyend synth > input 1 (mono)

Meris P&M chained > out 3 / in 3 (mono)

Chroma console > out 4 / in 4 (mono)

Sound > Polyend (in1) / aux send 1 (Meris ext 3) / aux send 2 (Chroma ext 4)

Playback works and the aux sends are audible during playback, but when i resample the internal master output i only get the internal “dry” signal printed to the audio.

Any advice would be great.

You’re probably recording the incoming signal onto a pad that has only your synthesizer assigned to it. Your send chain is just routing the signal to external devices — now you need to receive it on separate pads.

Select one of the pads: Settings → Input → External Mono → incoming signal from Meris.

Then select another pad and repeat the same steps for Chroma.

Now you can either record the sound from one of them separately (Sampling → Internal → choose the desired pad), or — if you want to combine them — route the audio output of each to a free pad within the group.

To make that pad appear in the selection list, assign any FX to it, but make sure the FX is turned off so it doesn’t affect the sound.
