Why is Music Production Suite Pro being replaced by a tiered subscription?
Music Production Suite Pro has doubled in both size and value since it was first introduced, growing to include dozens of new professional tools and exclusive partner deals. However, we know every creator's journey is different, and we're moving away from a one-size-fits-all approach to provide more flexible options that scale with your career.
We are introducing iZotope Plus and iZotope Pro to give you more flexibility. This change lets you decide what works best for you based on your workflow and budget:
- iZotope Plus is designed for creators ready to take control of their sound. It offers everything needed to finish and release tracks quickly, using trusted plugins that deliver consistent, release-ready results.
- iZotope Pro is for engineers and producers aiming for the highest levels of precision and polish. It offers the complete suite of iZotope’s flagship tools, including premium gear for true studio-grade mixing, mastering, repair, and effects.
How do I activate and install the products?
iZotope products are now serviced through Native Instruments. To activate and install your tools, you will need the latest version of Native Access. Please note that the iZotope Product Portal is no longer used for these subscriptions. Native Access is now your single destination for all installations and updates.
Will you keep investing in perpetual products?
Yes, we will continue to update and invest in our perpetual portfolio – products available as a one-time purchase for an individual software license.
I’m a current Music Production Suite Pro subscriber. What happens to me?
Music Production Suite Pro customers will be automatically transitioned to iZotope Pro with no disruption to your projects and tools during this move. As a thank you for your loyalty, you will keep your current pricing for the next 6 months. We have sent a detailed email to your inbox regarding this transition.
If you want to make any changes to your subscription, you can do so at any time at: https://www.native-instruments.com/account/subscription/
Can I still subscribe to Music Production Suite Pro at the previous price?
No. Moving forward, iZotope Plus and iZotope Pro have replaced the previous Music Production Suite Pro offering.
I’m a Native Instruments 360/Plugin Alliance Core/Pro subscriber. Can I also subscribe to iZotope?
Yes. All subscriptions from Native Instruments, iZotope, and Plugin Alliance are compatible and can be active on the same account simultaneously. Adding an iZotope subscription is a great way to complement the creative power of NI 360 or the precision of Plugin Alliance bundles with mixing, mastering, and audio repair tools.
How often will my subscription get updated with new products?
New products are automatically added to your subscription upon release. Whenever we add something new to your subscription, we’ll let you know via email. In addition, you can also check the “Updates” or “Not installed” tabs in Native Access.
What happens to my projects if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel your subscription, your tools and effects will revert to read-only mode once you pass the expiration date. This means that they will retain the settings you last saved, but controls won’t be editable. If you know you are going to cancel your subscription, we recommend that you bounce any tracks that use included tools and effects to audio first.
Will I be charged when I sign up?
No, iZotope subscriptions are completely free to try for 7 days. If you cancel within that period, you won’t pay anything. After the free trial, your plan will automatically renew monthly. We'll send you a reminder email before your paid subscription begins.
Do I need to be online to use iZotope subscriptions?
Once installed, you can use all products offline. You’ll need to connect through Native Access once per month to verify your subscription.
