Why is there a difference in sound between maschine and logic

I’m trying to recreate a maschine track in logic , but I’m finding they sound quite different , why ?

Basically I loaded a patch from monark in logic, after saving the patch in monark within maschine , set it up the same as maschine , same fx chain etc

But it sounds different, I’d say a thicker tone , more bass , less defined in the mids , I’d say maschine sounds more hi-fi , sits better in the mix without actually having to do anything, if that make sense

The patch is monark bass- 3d pranged

Any thoughts , is it some sort of gain staging between plugins

Remove variables: Sound, Group, and Master FX; same in Logic; ensure velocity is the same, then compare again to make sure none of those are causing the difference.

Establish first if it's Monark that sounds different or the FX.

Could be, if the above fixes it, then it's more likely.

Quite a few FX are gain-dependent so if the gain is different, it will sound different. A simple compressor, for example, if one sound is way above the threshold than another, then it will be more compressed. Many FX that try to have an "analog" sound will also react differently based on gain.
