My Traktor Kontroll S3 is not in sync with my MacBook M1 Pro running Traktor Pro 4 - help!

Question

I upgraded my MacBook Pro M1 and moved to Traktor Pro 4: there is independant  power for my S3 Kontrol which flashes lights when connected but thats it: there  no sync from there.

I've checked all firmware upgrade and everything seems to be in place but nothing currently works - any thoughts?

Have you granted Traktor Pro access to microphones in macOS system settings? You‘ll find this setting in Privacy&Security.

Also modern versions of macOS sometimes ask if they are allowed to use USB devices
