Guide to setting up & Integrating Maschine 3.0 in Logic Pro

Hello all,

I Was curious how i could go about setting up Maschine 3.0 as a VST within Logic Pro, making sure that I can keep the Maschine workflow while using Logic's mixer? As in make the beat in maschine and mix it in logic.

Hopefully this is something I can set up once and save the template so it can be ready to go.

I saw a support video from NI but it was for Maschine 2. Not sure if the same steps for routing the sounds into the aux channels apply….

Make sure to open Maschine in standalone and select the Kontrol keyboard as a MIDI input in the preferences.

Also make sure that Logic and Maschine have full disk access: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

Ok, I found a video that kinda answered my question. Just two snags I ran into..

I can’t get my komplete keyboard s2 to work properly. It allows me to browse/click and interact with the maschine vst.. but it does not work when it comes to actually playing keys. The keys themselves light up and are corresponding with the software (maschine) but aren’t actually registering when i play on it.
With this method can i arrange in maschine & pull the arrangement into logic? Or do i have to arrange in logic…?

I mainly wanted this setup to benefit from Logic’s mixer.
