Drum Lab change existing sounds to other Drum kits in MK3

Greetings-

Is it possible to open Drum lab, choose a drum pattern, then change out the sounds with another Kit in MK3, (keep the original drum pattern in Drum lab, use the sounds from another MK3 kit i.e. True Sckool or Velvet Lounge for example)

OK i missunderstood your question, i thought you want to switch between drum lab kits and have the same pattern for all, the problem is maschine kits have only 16 pads, but drum lab kits spread over 3 octaves + 1 note so 37 keys and it is not that easy to map a midi file made for a range like that to just 16 pads. I tried a bit and there is no easy way to do it.

Hello,

if you press play on the upper right corner and then use the arrows on the left side to switch kits it will work. You also could drag and drop a pattern from the upper right area into maschine and switch the kits.

So am I novice, maybe you could attach a vid on how its done, because when I tried what you suggested, it did not work. I want to keep the drum pattens, with all of the percussion elements , in Drum Lab, but want to use the sounds of kits from different Maschine kits in MK3 ie. Deep Matter, Velvet Lounge, Maschine 1.0, 2.0 2.5 etc…Is this possible?

@Blacsol These screenshots should be enough to explain: First you can select a kit with the patterns:

If you click on this, it will be greyed out and you can change the sounds wityhout loosing the patterns:

I dont want to use the drum patterns in Maschine… I want to use the drum patterns in Drum Lab(Kontact) then use the sounds from Maschine. If you can't do it please just state.
