Kontrol S49 mk3 Controller

Started with this issue today : when trigger a key, it sets the sound on loop which is unstoppable in DAW or standalone mode. I noticed in the DAW, whichever instrument channel is record armed, it is triggering that channel automatically. there is no other way to stop it. either exit daw. or turn off the Kontrol s49 mk3 controller. it seems like a stuck key or some setting or software error. I'm unable to troubleshoot it. if anyone has had to deal with something similar or knows what could be the issue and the fix, Kindly help! Thanks.

Hello,

how have you set up the keyboard, do all the transport functions work as they should. Maybe there is an issue. You could test the keyboard with a midi monitor app, I'm not a mac user but I'm sure you'll find something if you search the Internet for "mac midi monitor".

Please define "standalone mode.".

In any case then reboot computer and then without starting any programs at all other than Midi Monitor then test the keyboard.

Else then also try loading a Default Midi template and then reboot computer and keyboard to see if that helps…

@Digits Any feedback? some people tried to help here. We definitely need some info here, what DAW, what instrument, what loop, what channel?
