No MIDI arriving in Ableton Live, No DAW-Mode

Hi,

I have a problem with my Kontrol S61 Mk3. I downloaded Native Access, Komplete Kontrol and the Hardware Connection Service, all latest versions. Imade sure that the keyboard has the latest firmware. Playing instruments in Kontrol works fine but the problem lies within DAW integration. Ableton Live is listing 3 instances of the Kontrol (DAW, Main, and Ext) in the MIDI setup, which I activated, yet if I select either of these in a MIDI track as input, there's no MIDI arriving. Also the DAW mode is not being activated on the Keyboard, even though it is being selected as surface control unit in the setup, it stays in the "Default MIDI Template" mode.

How is your controller configured in Live? Probably worth sharing a screen shot. Fwiw here is the setup guide.

It's not clear what you're refering to. Are you talking about the Ableton options setting page as shown below. That's what controls the inputs and outputs of the keyboard configuration.

Beyond that you also have to make sure your Audio driver settings are correct on that same page.
