Vocoflex  bought at NKS Store - ID verification through KYC-service necessary?

Hi,
I would like to buy Dreamtonics Vocoflex via the NI web-shop.
The following applies to Vocoflex on the Dreamtonics website: “As a precautionary measure, Vocoflex requires  ID verification through our KYC-service partner.”
Does this also apply to purchases made via the Native Instruments web-shop?
Is the Vocoflex version identical with the one I can buy directly via Dreamtonics or are there any known issues combining it with Dreamtonics Synthesizer V 2 Pro, which I bought directly via the Dreamtonics website?

HOW TO ACTIVATE

To begin, please visit https://my.dreamtonics.com and create a Dreamtonics account. After verifying your email, sign in to access the Product Manager page.

Once signed in, click “Add Product” in the top-right corner and enter your activation code(s). Your purchased products will appear under the ‘My Products’ tab.

Next, download and install Vocoflex. After installation, launch Vocoflex and sign in using the same Dreamtonics account.

To use Vocoflex, you’ll need to complete identity verification. This helps us promote responsible use of our AI technology, protect content creators’ rights, and uphold ethical standards.

Complete the identity verification and product registration process here.

Once verification is complete, you’ll receive a download link for the latest version of Vocoflex. After installation, launch Vocoflex and enter your activation code to activate it on your device. Vocoflex can be activated on up to three devices.

I would assume that if it's verification so they can trace altered voices back to the creator then it applies to all usage, but that's an assumption and not fact. There's a page describing the verification here - https://store.dreamtonics.com/frequently-asked-questions/identity-verification-for-vocoflex/. It does say you can complete verification before purchase which is probably the safest option. Again, this is an assumption and contacting Dreamtonics for information about their products is probably the safest route to take to be sure.

Thanks for your reply! However, this is what I already knew.
My question would be, whether it is any different when I buy Vocoflex via the Native Instruments web-shop and install it via Native Access since the ID verification through the KYC-service partner is not being mentioned anywhere on the NI website.

I'd expect it to be the same, but hopefully @Jeremy_NI can confirm that for you. It might be Monday now before you get an official reply.

@RaBE I understand the confusion, on the product's page it states that it should be installed in Native Access, which is not the case, since this is a third party plugin/app and not a Kontakt library. We'll have to correct that.

When buying this on our webshop, you get the exact same plug-in as you would get from them. You get a registration code, I guess this would be the same process as if you bought it directly from Dreamtonics. I'm tryi,ng to get more info on the topic to confirm 100%.
