Im thinking to get the RANE SYSTEM ONE and would like to use in Traktor work with most of its available features.
I’d just wait for the MX4…
Rane System One is made for Serato/Denon Engine. I will not expect compatibility with Traktor.
I don't understand. Why would you want to buy very expensive standalone gear, only to use it with a laptop? And if you make it work in Traktor, you probably going to lose the screen as well.
With MX4 will lost the motorized platters.
I've all my music metadata collection with Traktor. If dont have the screen, I'll need my computer. (I'd like Rane One or Performer systems as well…)

Compatibility with OneLibrary is allegedly coming SOON™ to Traktor, which means you can take your metadata and use it standalone on the System One (which reads Rekordbox data).
There are also third party software database conversion options.
EngineDJ can easily import traktor collection with all hot cues, loops etc.
If you want to use the device with a laptop, Traktor users can also use djay Pro from Algoriddim. There, your Traktor collection loads in seconds, and the controller will soon be supported by Algoriddim as well. At least, that's what they've announced.
no, but you can transfer you Traktor playlists, hotcues, and metadata to Engine for free using Lexicon
No big deal, as long as the jog wheel has good latency and feels tight when scratching, I’ll be happy.
I’ve also got a MX2. I made a little video doing a basic beat juggly and scratching. By the way I play Bollywood music lol 😆

https://www.lexicondj.com will transfer Traktor to Engine DJ for free.
If you get the system one and use it on Traktor, even if it works, you are paying for a screen and computer that are build in, but can't use it. 2500 EUR can buy a whole lot controller.
Thanks!
Only via the desktop software, not directly on the standalone.
From what I've seen so far, I get the impression that the Rane is always a standalone device running Engine, even when it's connected to DJ software on a laptop.
It's not shutting down its OS when in "controller mode", so the screen will always work.
What a fantastic product the latest Rane one but so expensive to me...dj engine looks great on that screen
