No more S2, S3 and S4 new - only MX2 ?

hi, I don't know for other countries, but in france, we cannot buy any new S2 mk3, S3 and S4mk3 ! only MX2 is available for first this type of NI controlers (exlude Z1,X1 S5, S8 )
the 5 main ressellers official in france, spain (maybe all europe) are labeled : This product is currently not available for sale.

is any MX3 and MX4 will be released : NO CLUE !

So what to do if I want to buy a 4 deck like S3 o S4 brand new or easy entry NI 2 decks ?

With Traktor play out for beginners, is there only the Alfa-theta DDJ-FLX2 ? ?

Am I the only one lost there ? for me it is WTF

I would love your insight or other thoughts on this.

You can also buy refurbished s4 mk3 on reverb sometimes.

Well have you looked up if there is a s2 on reverb?

If you want a beginner controller, why not get the mx2?

the thing is the S2 mk3 was very easy to get into for beginners.
"I teach beginners and very early beginners"
MX2 is not that entry level as S2 was.

NI could tell us what controler will arrive.

right now : only Mx2 and what about if I want to buy a 4 deck brand new ?

Well the mx4 will be released in the coming months. It's a 4 channel controller that sits between the s3 and s4.

I don't see how the mx2 is much worse for beginners. It's more or less the same, just with added fx control which you can ignore in the beginning.

If you need the s2 you will have to buy from second hand market.

Rane System One

Not gonna lie I'm looking at the rane system one and the hercules t10,. I want nothing to do with serato but if were stuck in the same place (S4MK3) for too too much longer. I'll be looking much harder.

The MX2 is worse than the S2mk3 only in terms of battery life. The MX2 won't work when connected via USB alone. This is probably its only drawback compared to the S2mk3. In all other respects, it's superior.
