Passing Audio through to OBS and out to twitch

Hi. Ive read all sorts of info but to no avail I dont get audio out to my stream.

1st attempt. I hooked the controller up. had all drivers updated opened obs. added new audio out. selected A. i can see the levels for audio bounce but dont hear anything.

I tried this again. i put my receiver into channel B same thing.

2nd I took main 2 rca out and routed them into input channel B and nothing

So i inserted a rca y splitter on main oot into my receiver and into the traktor input b and I get audio out of my stereo, i get signal visual up and down in OBS as before but no audio sound passes through. i had my stream running on mobile and nothing.

I mean it will tie up the input B, it does not tie up the channel / deck B in traktor.

Now you can just add the input channel b in OBS

Something like this:

If you want it slightly better:

Use the booth out. Then you set the level once and never touch the volume knob on the back any more.

Now you can use the master volume on the top of the deck to control your speaker volume without the stream being affected.

Note my audio is only what i assign from the software. i cant do a direct by pass say play an lp or cd

virtual audio channels is what you need to look into…

Voicemeter banana/potato or VB matrix for windows

blackhole for mac

I used a cable from booth out into a line in on my s4 mk3. No changed needed in Traktor and "just works" ™️

If that does not work, then there is something wrong with your OBS setup. As audio from line in is as simple as it gets.

I tried virtual audio cables and there was always something funky / laggy or just plain broken.

Well i gave it a try, Seems doing it this way ties up deck B. I seen the Volume playing in OBS, i figured it was taking audio. i began to disconnect the line in from the controller and it was still showing audio with no audio. so i take it this was just from what was get taken from the USB connection. I set osb capture to channel B where i ran the line from main out into channel b on line.

What? Why would this take up channel b?

Don't change anything in Traktor. Don't do a live input deck! That would result in a feedback loop.

The way I do it when streaming vinyl to Twitch is to send the output of my mixer (with an RCA to 3.5mm mini jack cable) to the line input on my PC soundcard, then set the OBS audio to the soundcard.

Thanks, I managed to get it by going from the main the channel b input then in OBS settings selecting channel B. finally.. thank you so much for all the help .

PK tried that but laptop doesnt see it to accept it as an input oddly. its said to be a multi line in.
