Before I go on the 2 month back and forth with support hunting for parts, is there anywhere that sells parts for the S4 MK3? If not, has anyone had experience replacing the channel faders with innofader minis?
You can often find them on eBay but they don't tend to come with the PCB so there's some soldering involved. I got some replacement faders for an S8 directly from NI back in 2020 but tends to be very hit and miss as to whether they have any or not. I looked at the Innofaders but my credit card just fainted, although they are apparently just plug and play.

You're probably looking at the Innofader then unless NI can come up with something. Drop a support request, you may get lucky!
the Innofader mini s solders into the pcb. You still need a working pcb to replace the channel faders with innofaders.
Ah yep I was looking at the plus, not the mini-s. How bad is the board cracked? Could you jump over the cracked tracks with a short length of wire?
broken in half, and the break goes across a few of the contacts, so Nopers.
I did find a used s4 mk3 on reverb for parts, tho. So I’m hopeful to have this one fixed.
heard back from NI. They don’t sell spares, and require you to use a repair partner (which is a right to repair law violation in some US states btw).
So, even happier I found the controller for parts on reverb. :-p
