Hi, how do I set a monophonic lead patch to polyphonic?
Can not find it in the manual.
To switch a monophonic lead to polyphonic in Absynth 6, you need to adjust the Voices setting located on the Assign page. While the interface has been modernized in version 6, the core logic for voice allocation remains centered in this global configuration area.
Steps:
Open the Assign Page: Click the Assign button at the top of the Absynth window. This page handles macro mappings, tuning, and note-handling behavior.
Adjust the Voices Parameter: In the top section of the Assign page, look for the Voices field. If the patch is monophonic, this is likely set to 1. Click and drag the value upward (usually to 4, 8 or 16) to allow multiple notes to trigger simultaneously. If you want a clean polyphonic sound, also set Glide to 0.
Note: Because Absynth is a semi-modular synth, simply increasing the voice count might not be enough if specific modules within the patch are constrained to mono.
