I'm experimenting with sending channels from my Denon x1850 to Traktor for live input however I'm getting some phasing and wondering if there is anything I can do differently to lessen. DJing with decks A, B, and C, external mixer (x1850). Deck D is a live input. The send of the mixer is sent to the input of deck D. I get pretty cool echo effects that I can layer with effects on the mixer (and are POSTFADER and BEATSYNCED because unfortunately x1850 doesn't natively support this…). I can quickly choose what channel with the channel selector knob on the mixer, and the send is always active (even with the send return "effect" off and knob at 0) which is cool because I can still add a second effect from the mixers unit while the send is active, double up.
My issue is with the phasing that I am getting. The original and live input are both playing slightly out of sync and makes a noticeable phasing sound. Is there another way to route this or any tricks or hacks to remove as much as possible?
