Watch your accounts. On Dec. 17th I went into Native Access and my products did not show up, then I went to the N.I. website and some of my stuff showed up on purchases but not in my products. Ever since then, I have been in contact with support, or whenever they decide to respond. I've been a loyal N.I. user for 15 years and own the Collector's Edition since ver. 12 (13, 14, 15). Came into the system with a Komplete 9 crossgrade (from a N.I. Guitar Rig Kontrol).
This has been in process now for 3 weeks and has caused issues with some of my work. I have participated in the forum in the past by contributing free Kontakt content and currently am a PianoBook creator using Kontakt as my engine. I mention this because I want others to know companies can hold your products hostage (no matter what level you're at in your musical journey) without you being able to do much about it.
I understand the need for security, but surely there had got to be a better way. I feel helpless. Luckily, I have been able to find most of the old stuff, though it was quite a chore. I have moved several times since the old days and had to drive across town to my storage facility and rummage through boxes of stuff to finally find things. I would imagine that most would feel like your stuff was secure on N.I. database. Yeah, about that!! Well, to shorten the story I'm still not up yet, and have just passed on the final S.N. I could find, that hopefully will un-lock this nightmare. Besides my N.I. libraries I use Kontakt to host all my other brands as well (Spitfire Audio) (Orchestral Tools) (ProjectSam) ect.. I'm worn down.
N.I…you owe me!
