Hello i'm having some issue vonnecting my roland to my maschine plus, it seems to not be seen, there a guide or someone has a link to some info to fix my problem ? maybe i'm missing some steps :/
If you mean connecting via USB then audio devices need to be class compliant - and a quick Google tells me the TR-8S is not.
Through DIN MIDI cables I mean
As you mentioned the TR-8S not being seen, I assumed USB as traditional MIDI doesn't have a "being seen" function. What exactly are the issues?
I would like to connect them like this :), but I can not figure it out how to link them in the setups

Just connect the MIDI out of the device you want to be "in charge" to the MIDI in of the other. You may need to set the "follower" to receive external clock, but that's it.
You can Google the info if you need a video to follow…
connect a midi cable from + midi out to tr midi in
there’s 2 ways you can set it up
Easy way , sync midi clock ( the tr starts and stops with maschine , playing the pattern on the tr
Maschine settings / midi / clock - send
Tr8s settings / midi / midi clk set to receive, and rx start/ stop - on
The slightly harder way , but better , and maybe how it’s set in the video
Setup to trigger tr drums notes from maschine
Do the above , make sure your maschine midi ports are active
Select a group , , goto the group channel settings / midi output / set it to drumkit and set the midi port , and set it to channel 10 ( the tr should be set to 10 by default, if it’s not , you can change that on the tr8 under settings/ midi ch ,
you will then probably need to match the tr8 notes to the maschine group drumkit mode , so you can play from the pads
Maschine group set to drum kit should be c3 onwards , if not it’s def c2
The tr8 lets you change the note that trigger the drum sounds , again in tr8 settings / midi
So set the kick to c3 ( or 2 ) and the so on for each sound
fyi once it’s set up to your liking, you can save the group as tr8s and load when needed
I’m sure there’s a old template for the tr8 in the external instrument folder on the desktop version, that may work with some adjustments
you could also reach out to the author of the video, and see if they have a group template set up they’re willing to share
