Kontrol S3 + Traktor Play?

Hey guys!

I got an amazing gift from a family friend- Kontrol S3

I don't have the traktor software and i'm pretty broke

I need only two deck so the new "Traktor Play" software can work well for me?

Do you know if its compliable with the s3?

P.s- Will a macbook air I5 8gb ram can do the job with Traktor play?

There's a comment from NI on Reddit from around a month ago that says "Only the MX2, AlphaTheta , DDJ-FLX2 and FLX4, as well as S2 mk3 coming soon".

If you're just playing at home you can download a demo version of Traktor Pro 4. That gives you all the features but stops working after 30 minutes. Not enough for a gig, but fine if you're just experimenting with a new controller.

If you get your friend to transfer the license for you, you get the traktor pro software.

Else you can use mixxx, which is free.

DO NOT BUY TRAKTOR PLAY! It's rubbish.

If you get and register the license, which is probably for TP3, you can upgrade to TP4 for half the price.
