Do we know anything to solve this issue ?

I am writing to report a technical issue I am experiencing with Traktor Pro 4 while using the Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 on a Windows system.

Recently, I have noticed specific points in some tracks where the audio produces a high-pitched screeching sound (digital distortion). Simultaneously, a thick blue vertical block/line appears on the waveform at that exact position, which does not seem to be a part of the beatgrid but rather a visual representation of a data glitch.

This issue occurs primarily when streaming tracks via Tidal. I have already tried increasing the buffer size to 512 and 1024 samples and ensuring I am using the official ASIO drivers, but the "artifacts" on the waveform still appear occasionally.

If it's already in the waveform, changing buffersize will not help.

Traktor does not support Tidal, what do you mean? If it's a pirate copy I would expect the rip to just be bad :D

Do you also have problems with Tracks that you have bought from Bandcamp / Beatport etc? If yes, can you send one over and I might take a look how they are analyzed on my rig.

it only does this to 10 out of 5000 songs ! I use best quality audio and I pay a lot for this ! Do we have any suggestion that I can try ?

Looks like a corrupt file. What happens if you open the file with a different program? Is the glitch still there?

For me, it sounds you are using a Tidal Ripper, or how do you stream tracks via Tidal?

I have tidal converter to convert my files and be ready to play in traktor . I think something is wrong with the file but i don’t know yet

Try downloading the corrupt song again. To be honest, 3rd party converters are known to cause problems….

The consistency check will not check the "audio quality" or if a file is "corrupt". Did you reorganize your structure?

If all the tracks that you have trouble with are coming from the tidal "converter" (haha) the issue is probably there.
