I can't update contact 8, (Update Koplete control forever) why, I don't know, can you do something remotely to solve this?
I get that message all the time. If you are running your DAW or a standalone version of any plugins, they might have your audio interface.
I basically ignore the message, but I do know that if I install something with NA, and I had an audio interface open while I did that, I might need to restart some things before I can use whatever it was I installed.
Not sure if he is actually referring to that "Updates may fail…" message.
That message appears regardless if any audio apps are running or not.
I think he is referring to the bottom portion of the window where it says "Installing Komplete Kontrol…installing" and it never actually does….

occasionally I get that , the other night it was prism , I had a na update which fixed it
