Hi there
Has anybody an idea how to setup a propper stutter function like it is available on X1 MK3 on button 1-4? But mapped in controller manager ?
Map these three commands to a single button, two of them have interaction Mode HOLD, the loop size assignment is DIRECT with the stutter loop size as value.
Thanks, i will try this when I am back from my holidays.
Hi Sûlherokhh
I am back from my holidays and coud try the function. Basically it works but since I want to activate the the shutter in SHIFT mode, I have a strange behavior. On my X1 MK3 on LEFT 1, I have beatjump -8 without shift. When I programm the shutter function with use of modifier 1 =1 when SHIFT is on, it makes first beatjump -8 before it starts the shutter effect. Do you have an idea what this could be? Enclose my mapping. The paypal link does not work? I have some other issue you can help me with.
..hre is the mapping.
here is the mapping
Have you checked the 'override' checkbox for all commands i mentioned above? You can't see the checkbox in my pictures because it only appears on overmapping pages (like the one used to assign commands to the X1MK3)
To upload the mapping, put the tsi inside a zip file and then drag and drop into the comment window.
here is the zipped version. When I set "overwrite factory map" on the regular function of button "1" , then it will not jump in the flux mode. The new Inputs for flux effect are all set to "overwrite factory map" =1.
Quick question. Did you export using the command 'controller manager → edit → export', or did you use the EXPORT button at the bottom of the 'Preferences' window?
#1: Remove the Modifier Condition 'M1=1' from the Modifier #1 assignment to your SHIFT button or the value switch doesn't work.
#2: Check the Override box for your beatjump assignments.
Thanks it works. I had first some troubles with reset the flux effect when I release the SHIFT button or the correspondending button (1-2). Then I made a second Modifier #1 which I inverted. Both Modifier I set to mode Direct. Hope this is OK and not too complicate. See enclosed the new mapping with all buttons 1-2 Deck A and B.
I have another issue you can help me: I want to customize the mapping on the different "pages" which appears when Mode switch is pressed. Do you have an example mapping how to do this in a propper way? Is there an internal state which tells me on which page I am?
Check the MOD link in my signature. It contains a reference to the internal state in the form of Sample Page Selector, which can then be used as a modifier condition for the different MODE pages. Read the description, starting with the SETUP section of the MOD (third page, first custom option).
The default qml files don't work like that, so i added this functionality in the MOD.
I'll check out your mapping next time i start Traktor.
