Native don't support macOS Tahoe

I'm new to this group. I'm very frustrated that I wasted my time trying to access Native Instruments plugins directly from my MK3 keyboard or my DAW since updating to Tahoe v18. How can a reputable company not be compatible a few months after a new macOS release? It took me 2-3 hours of wasted time before I finally succeeded. Luckily, I had Google's AI to help me. I have no plans to update to Tahoe but I assume everything I posted here is still necessary - so even if NI software is now mostly compatible there are still some things the user needs to do themselves such as adding items to Local Network access etc - without that the keyboard and many DAWs may not work. If this was the issue then it has nothing to do with compatibility per se, but just some additional security measures each macOS update seems to ramp up

@Alto202 We hadn't such reports from Tahoe users. FYI there is some progress on the Tahoe front, you can follow it up here: macOS 26 Tahoe Compatibility Statement We have a huge portfolio so yes it takes time to test everything.

Issue might have occured when updating (not specific to Tahoe itself), sometimes permissions, full disk access change after updating. You don't provide that many details on what was wrong specifically and what was the fix.

I asked questions to Gimini (Google Ai) and follow the recommended steps. But the one that is important for my Mac Studio M2 is to plug the USB cable to the front port. But you have to do a lot before.

OK but that is nothing to do with Tahoe compatibility. What are the other steps?

I upgraded the firmware on the Mk3. I've got a failure because the Mke was connected on the back of the Mac Studio. I updated it with an older Macbook and the update succeeded.

I followed the answer of the question in Google AI (Gimini).

I don't have a problem - as I said this does not sound like not a Tahoe specific compatibility issue - possibly a Mx one but I have not come across that - I wouldn't really put a lot of trust in what AI tells you, it has a habit of making stuff up (because it doesn't really understand what it is saying)

I just talked to a friend that I am not installing Tahoe since nothing from NI is compatible yet and he sent me the english version, which is updated. Would have been nice to use the free time during holidays to update to Tahoe.

If you need to do other languages than English, then at least please update them accordingly

The final version of macOS 26 Tahoe was released on September 15, 2025. Almost 4 months later… What happen with Native?

So in the end the issue is not specific to Tahoe. It's another issue with some Mac Studio models not having consistent power on their usb C ports. Glad that Gemini got the solution from your prompts anyway.
