Hi,

Komplete Kontrol lists plugins that I don't have: How do I remove these (like Battery Plugin for example),

and secondly,

how can I use the ones I do have in Komplete according to the NKS standard?

P.s.: I own "Hive", how can i use it with Kontrol Komplete and how can i delete "Battery" Plugin?

Battery, for example, does not appear anywhere in the VST Plugins folder.

Hello

Actually, KK does not list plugins. It lists presets, banks, expansions etc. And this is what you are seen.

Battery banks can be found in a lot of places, for example in Maschine expansions. So even if you do not have the plugin, you still see the kits and presets, because they are part of an expansion, or something else.

So, there is no plugin to remove. You can remove the libraries and their presets (and their registry values and .json files files) manually, if you do not want to see them.

About Hive, please check if you are using its VST2 version instead of VST3

But I still need help deleting the Battery entries, please. 🙂

Messing with registry values is a tricky and potentially dangerous business and it is recommended for advanced users only. If you do not have already a good knowledge of those things, i can not take responsibility if you delete a wrong value and damage your system (not really "damage", but in worst case you may find yourself in the need to re-install Windows and all your apps). So, sorry, but i can not guide you on this. :-)

What do you have against Battery 4 ?

Nothing ?

If so then you can get Battery 4 as part of Komplete Select Beats for as little as € 50. (another way of solving your problem , and a much better one if you ask me - which you of course did not ☺️)

Battery 4 by itself is € 199 at the moment. But otherwise then of course apart from Komplete Select then Komplete Standard on sale is the absolute cheapest way of getting the apps…

Strange you have the kits for Battery installed but not the plugin.

If you want to remove battery from your browser in KK you would have to delete all the Battery content that has been installed. You should be able to just use your Windows uninstaller otherwise right-click a file in the NKS browser then choose "find in explorer" and delete the files in that location. Keep in mind for Battery these are the actual kit presets so this will delete the battery kits from your system but if you want them out of your library this is the only way.
