NI Electric Neon Essentials opens very quickly in Kontakt.
NI Electric Ruby Deluxe opens very slowly. Please improve the loading speed of Electric Ruby Deluxe in Kontakt.
It doesn't surprise me Electric Ruby would be slower given it's size is a bit over twice that of Neon Essentials. By my measurements in launching with a selected preset Ruby is about 3 seconds longer than Neon, but given the considerable additional functionality programmed into it I'm not surprised. A lot is going to depend on how you load it and where the library is stored.
Like you I'm on Windows 10 and these libraries are stored on an external SSD. From what I can see the basic library loading takes the lion's share of the time whereas changing presets is pretty minimal. But so much of this is system specific such as how much system reserve space you have allocated and so forth it's hard to be accurate about speed without knowing a lot more about your memory and system disk usage.

Session Guitarist: Electric Ruby Deluxe very slow - Community
The Acoustic Sunburst Deluxe is bigger than the Electric Ruby Deluxe. However, the Acoustic Sunburst Deluxe is very fast. The Electric Ruby Deluxe is very laggy. Everyone I know who uses it says the Electric Ruby Deluxe is laggy.
There may very well be some efficiencies they could do with Electric Ruby, I don't know. I know aside from its load time it works very efficiently for me in all my various uses. I suspect the load speed of the Acoustic Sunburst Deluxe is more related to it's samples than Ruby's performance that requires the loading all the various amps and effects functionality which, unlike samples, have to be loaded from the beginning and stay resident in memory. But that's just a guess based on the loading process observed on my S88MK3 keyboard which shows the library loaded on the keyboard about 8 seconds before it appears and is enabled in Kontakt. I hope they can find a way of optimizing that, but it's not hampering my use right now in any way. I've certainly lived with worse. As long as it performs adequately once it's loaded I'm happy.
