So I got my flx4 and i would like to know how can i get my traktor play free version. thanks
Hey everyone, it should be working now for Traktor Pro 2, Traktor 2 Duo, Traktor Pro 3 owners, Traktor Play should be triggered when you connect the device. Simply relaunch Native Access and try again.
If you own Traktor Pro 4, the Traktor Play license won't be triggered as Traktor Pro 4 takes over and can be used with these controllers.
Thanks for your patience.
Aren't there any instructions included with FLX4 how to get Traktor Play? 🤔
The Pioneer site gives a download link, but that's just to the normal version. I'm not sure if Traktor Play is included with the hardware or not - @Jeremy_NI can probably say for sure.
@allanarmando01 There's now a streamlined process for newer Pioneer/AT devices, here are the instructions: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/traktor/dj-software/traktor-play/controller-redeem/
@Jeremy_NI It doesn't work for me.
Is your native access the latest version?
Ok, can you give us a few more details? Is it the same controller, the FLX4? What happens exactly? Were you able to download and install Native Access? What happens when you connect the device? Is it recognised by your computer? Did you register the unit on Pioneer/Alpha Teta's side? Do you know if there are any driver or software needed for it to connect to your computer? Do they mention any installation process at all?
Versión 3.22.0 (72f827f / 1.28.0.0)
Thanks for the answer. Here more details:
I see on your forum profile that you're on Mac, which version? Does Native Access have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS
oh! theres already a topic open for this..sorry for creating other (
)
Same thing here with FLX4 on windows. i was thinking my outdated native access app was the problem but downloaded latest one and same thing.
EDIT: there's an older thread about this. —> https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/49244/how-can-i-get-my-free-copy-of-traktor#latest
Hey everyone, there was an issue on our side. This new Native Access is now operational, please try again and let us know if it worked out this time. Our apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Still not working. Re installed Native Access, plugged in DDJ FLX 4 and it doesn't want to detect it with Native end. It works for other DJ apps fine and detects it. All powered with the official cables, and uptodate drivers and firmware. Still looks like a problem at Native end. I have reported it to Pioneer too on their support group.
Got home and tried again. No luck. Still not working
Hey everyone, we're looking into the issue. One important thing that was missing in our communication.
If you own Traktor Pro 4 this isn't triggered, Traktor pro will always overwrite Play so you will always have access to the most features available. You can use the DDJ-FLX2 and DDJ-FLX4 with the full version of Traktor Pro 4.
I checked most of your accounts and some of you do not own TP4 but previous versions of Traktor. It would seem at the moment that it's stopping the process as well, it should be fixed soon.
@allanarmando01 Can you try again? I think you're the only one here that didn't have any Traktor version prior, now that it was double checked it should work for you.
