Something that's always confused me a little is the audio routing in maschine. If I'm running maschine plus standalone. I plug an audio source into the in 1L line in and don't hear anything until I go into the channel settings for a sound and set the input to 1L. However if I'm using maschine in controller mode and plug the same source into 1L in my audio interface I hear the input before setting any channel inputs at all.
