Hello everyone
I’m looking for help with repairing my Traktor Kontrol S4 (Limited Edition)
I did not purchase this unit from Native Instruments — it was bought through a random eBay auction — but I would still like to have it repaired properly if possible
The controller powers on and is recognised by my computer, but there is no audio output from either Main Out or Booth Out. It appears the unit may have been opened or worked on by a previous owner, but I’m not sure what was done.
Could you please let me know:
- If NI can repair this model even if it wasn’t bought directly from NI
- What the repair process is (shipping, estimate, turnaround time)
- Where the nearest authorised service centre is (I am located in the UK)
- Any costs I should expect
It’s a limited edition controller, so I would really like to get it repaired properly and keep it in good working order.

I got a ticket from the NI support but from what I’ve read they’re response are not good
