I am posting here because I have encountered what appears to be a bug in the behavior of REAKTOR 6.5.0.
When creating an Instrument in Reaktor and modifying the VOICES parameter from the Ensemble’s Function tab, the system behaves incorrectly: when the value is set to 2 or higher, the number of simultaneous voices is disregarded and fixed at six. Furthermore, if the Instrument contains its own voice-generation structure, the output level increases substantially.
If the voice-generation structure is built at the top level of the Ensemble, the same issue occurs—the specified voice count is ignored and fixed—although in this case the volume does not change.
I tested several synthesizers included in the REAKTOR Factory Library, and they also ignored the VOICES setting and exhibited the same behavior.
I am using an Apple Silicon Mac and therefore cannot install REAKTOR 5.5, but based on my recollection, REAKTOR 5.5 behaved correctly and generated voices according to the VOICES setting.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
If anyone from NI is reading this, I would appreciate it if you could look into the matter.
