Hi,
does anyone know, to which Instruments belongs the attached error message either the Plugin?
.
Did I understand you correctly... I should batch save each folder individually?
Sorry but since the support article do not explain any further , and since I am not a batch resave expert and I do not know the limitation of batch resave use then I can only offer you general troubleshooting advice and help. But I noticed that the article How to Batch re-save a KONTAKT Library says the following :
Batch re-save should only be used on single Libraries. It is not recommended to batch re-save an entire disk or directory of Libraries.
So it is possible that you have to limit your batch resaving to 'single libraries' ?
I would be extremely grateful for any help....
Immediately then to me that looks as if part of the Kontakt 8 'Disco and Funk' Leap expansion.
Try reinstalling the expansion…
Else try reinitialize the KONTAKT Database and then run Kontakt 8 standalone first….
Thank you sooo much!
@PoorFellow I hope, or rather, I hope not, that I may need your help.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I am checking it, and if so, i will mark your Post as a Solution. If not, i would be very grateful, if you can help me.
Edit: I was not able to fix it.
What does this have to do with Batch Resave?
It happens precisely when I perform a Batch Resave.
Did you try uninstalling , then reboot , then reinstalling the 'Disco and Funk' Leap expansion in latest version of Native Access for your OS ?
Else did you check installation path for the expansion , and your user access to drive/folder. Also file system on drive must be NTFS for Windows 11.
What is your version of Kontakt 8 and of Native Access ?
Hey!
Yes, I reinstalled Disco and Funk using the latest version of Native Access (Windows 11).
Native Access 3.22.0
Kontakt 8.8.0
Thank you , I see that you at least now have a different error this time.
Another user with the same error as the new error fixed it by changing the Batch Resave destination folder chosen, user wrote the following , quote user Philip Novemeb 6 , 2023 :
Simple but still confusing solution. I guess it makes sense to choose the direct folder instead of the parent folder. My assumption was that it would detect the child folder containing the Komplete 13 instruments automatically, as they might not all be within the same folder necessarily. Otherwise why would it let me choose that parent folder in the first place?
Hence, I strongly suggest that the error message should reflect it clearly, that the parent folder or drive letter can NOT be used for the resave. Rather it HAS TO BE the exact and direct containing folder of your instruments. Might save others a lot of time in the future. Please add that, because the current "Patch is corrupted" error message is very misleading.

P.S. : @Endzone ,

Could it be that this kit in the screenshot belongs to Battery, even though I don't have the Battery Instrument?
And do you have any idea how I can resolve this? I've at least made some progress by removing the write-protection from the Disco and Funk folder.

Thank you , yes as I wrote above : did you check installation path for the expansion , and your user access to drive/folder.
So great that you discovered that… 👍️🙂

Since the files related to the new error appear to be Leap expansion Drum Breaks then I would suggest you start checking that instead and maybe do the above un-/re-install and check user access to that also . (maybe check why you generally have user access problems where you should not have ?)
Yes, ok! 😉
Have a beautiful and well-being X-Mas Time @PoorFellow
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your Support and Effort!
Best Regards!
You are very welcome , I am glad to have been of help 🙂
And of course also best wishes for you and yours, including for the coming X-Mas 😀
