I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the knob caps on my Traktor S4 mk3 controller.
It is less than a year old and I don't use it very often (about once a week), but the knob caps are deteriorating very quickly.
I find this very disappointing, as Native Instruments has accustomed me to much higher quality in the past. For example, I've also had a Traktor S2 mk2 for years, which I've used a lot, and the knob caps are practically like new.
I would like to know if I was unlucky and got the wrong series, or if this is a recurring problem.
I would also like to know how to replace them, and with what. I can't find the original parts separately on the internet.
Ideally, I would like to replace them with the same caps found on the S2 mk2, as I prefer their shape.
How can I do this?
