Where to use the NI e-voucher?

Where to use the NI e-voucher code? It is virtually impossible to buy anything right now with it! I have 2 codes - $25 and $99, I can neither stack them or use them individually on anything right now! I was under the impression that you could buy a whole $99 kontakt library (like Ashlight) with it! Why can't NI let customers use them on anything or let people stack them (they can shorten the validity period to 30 days!) like other developers!

Really bummed since I like NI stuff and their libraries!

Read the fine print , generally then the vouchers can not be used for anything already discounted (meaning can not be used on items while on sale)

And yes , that makes e.g. the $25 vouchers more or less worthless since you can then get things cheaper on a sale than if using the voucher.

I have a $35CDN voucher that I simply cannot use - regardless of how hard I try. And trust me - I have tried.

It is becoming increasingly evident that vouchers (as they exist) are quickly becoming valueless as the ability to use them is almost impossible.

If NI is going to take time, talent and resource to offer these in the first place - they should be valid on anything at any time - otherwise - what is the point really?

Not sure how others feel - but I have zero inclination or interest in trying to spend hours trying to find a singular, obtuse scenario where a voucher "might" actually work.

It's rather standard practice that vouchers are not applicable to already discounted products - and I have yet to find/see any other company that handles this otherwise. (Not talking about those "use XXXXX for additional -XY% off" cases, btw).

Obviously sucks when a big sale is currently ongoing and nearly everything is discounted, but… vouchers are usually valid for a few months (3? 6?) 🤔

Must be just the vendors I deal with then - since I routinely add coupon codes/voucher ON TOP of any existing sales - exactly the way it should be.

Again - I get that "some" companies do not wish to do this - but there is little point to any voucher if there is no opportunity to execute - when I choose to execute.

The NI vouchers are particularly annoying (AND restrictive) if one is already a Komplete customer. The whole point to Komplete is to buy your way into a VERY large selection of products from the catalog.

You would think the company would actually "reward" Komplete users - as we have already made a huge commitment by purchasing Komplete in the first place and immersing ourselves in the NI ecosystem - by letting us use these vouchers on any product OUTSIDE our current Komplete license - whenever that mood strikes.

When it comes to these vouchers - I will never use one per NI's schedule - like only some random Tuesday during a "non-sales" period. I want to buy things when I want to buy them - when it makes sense to save the most money for whatever it is I am looking at.

Be that a sales period or not.
