How long until my serial is sent?

I purchased it 12 hours ago. Got all the emails almost immediately saying it was shipped but I don’t get the serial key and it’s not in the back end license portal. It’s so weird that it’s not instant. I’ve logged a ticket and spoken to the AI who also seemed to log a ticket.

How long is this wait normally ally and why on earth is there a wait anyway. A aerial number should be sent immediately as it’s stated on the buy page.

You bought what ? Where ?

Since your thread is tagged OSX and Kontakt 8 then I will go with you being a Mac user that bought Kontakt 8 at the NI shop.

If you are logged into the NI shop and buys something then you should not get a serial.

You simply download and install latest version of Native Access for your OS and log into the same account in NA as the one used to buy the product and then you should see the product in NA and you should be able to install it. Due to changes in NI security then you can no longer see the serial of not registered products and on the My Products page then the Product will change from not registered to registered when you have installed the product using NA.

On the subject of Mac and installation then N.A. will only show products that are compatible with your OS , so if e.g. that your OS does not meet Kontakt 8 product specifications then product might not show.
