Maschine Crashing

Hello,

I have seen this issue discussed but I'm curious if there are any reasons for this to happed. I was going through a lot of Maschine projects that I have created over the past 5 years or so, and around 10-15% of them crash Maschine when opening. Some I haven't opened in a while, but one that I opened 2 days ago is now crashing Maschine. I assume there is no way to look at the inner workings of projects to see what is making them glitch but it's getting more and more difficult to deal with since it's happening a lot. I'd appreciate any suggestions/insights as to what might cause this problem. Thanks.

I found a crazy bug with cradle plugins, the autosave was crashing my maschine when I had cradle projects in use. maybe try use maschine 2 to open the project and see if that changes anything. it may not but when you instal maschine 3 it installs as a new app so maschine is still accessible as a DAW. try that and if it crashes maschine 2 then there is a chance that you're out pf luck and it is corrupted for some reason. As of yet there is no solution for corrupted projects so I would suggest backing up as often as you can. I save my projects to iCloud and then others to a hard drive and name them by month/year or something so that if the ones in my folder crash, I have some hope of opening them elsewhere. if you have a friend with ams chine try see if it will open on their maschine version on another computer. this may be a way to completely rule out any hope so that at least you can just look forwards without wondering if the project will open up. then I suggest you back up the ones that work right now. multiple copies just to be safe, whatever corrupted the earlier ones may still be a factor and you don't want more projects inaccessible
