How to set a default state on a UI switch.

Hi all.

So I have scripted a switch, that opens and closes a ui_panel-label, this is intended to be the FX panel that can be hidden.

My problem is, whenever I reload the instrument the FX panel is open, when it should be closed.

Is this solved with persistence ? or do I switch the order somehow ?

You should do make_persistent() on your button, then just reuse the same show/hide code for the panel inside the persistence_changed callback.

Hi, Thanks for the response. On further assessment, I think I need to go back to the drawing board, I clearly dont understand how to manipulate the code, as well as I thought I could, so going to work my way thru " Nils Liberg's SCRIPT TUTORIAL "
