Maschine + sampling skips

Good evening,

I've recently just bought a Maschine plus again and I upgraded to 2.1.0.0 and have been having problems sampling.

Now I remember this being a thing back when I bought one on launch but did not notice it on subsequent versions.

It's quite hard to explain but I launch maschine plus and I look to sample something into the main input. I record a 60 second sample into it and play it back and find that the it doesn't seem to sample the whole sample. it kind of record skips part way through. This obviously makes it impossible to use.

Has anyone else had this problem or know of a fix?

I don't believe this is an isolated incident so I know someone must of had this problem before. Can anyone help?

Hello,

maybe you have set count in, so the first bar does not get recorded? Or do you use sound detection?

It's right in the middle of the sample. It is literally like a record skip.

For instance. I recorded a drum loop and half way through, the sample was about to hit a snare and it doesn't but you get the kick from next bar . It's nothing that happens that you can anticipate. It's completely random. Sometimes it won't happen.

As I said, I had this when it initially came out but never had it with subsequence units I've used

I had a battle with this back when I first got mine. It's your SD card. Try a different one. Also try bumping up your buffer size to 256 instead of 128 when sampling.
